I'm tall-ish (5ft9), and "curvy" - big boobs, big hips. I also hate my legs, so I never wear dresses, however longer dresses make me look stumpy and chunky so I want to get over the fear of my legs and show them off a bit more (with shaping/controlling tights lol).
Anyway I quite like these dresses

Mainly because I think they'll hide all the bits of me I don't like.....

Anyway do you think they'd suit my body shape?
What other suggestions do you have?
Which dress do you prefer?

Thanks

i like them too but sometimes hiding all of your curves gives you that boxy bag kind of look try something that fits but isnt tight so people can see your curves without it looking too tight or trashy.

First of all, the dresses that you picked do not look good on your body shape... you should go with an A line which makes every body flattering like this: http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/product/B001G8JYRK/sr=1-9/qid=1223921905/ref=sr_1_9/026-2575796-6266003?ie=UTF8&node=121616031&m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&keywords=&mnSBrand=core&size=9&rh=&page=

1] show off the curves! Don;t hide them!

2] if arms are good, show them off too! If not, avoid short sleeves, cap sleeves, or sleeveless dresses/tops

3] try wraps, princess shapes, and sheaths

4] Vnecks, scoop necks, or boatnecks are good

4] the fit sould be perfect - not tight, not baggy

5] a great fitting bra [ get professionally fitted ] and the right undergarments [ try Spanx ] work wonders

6] buy clothing in fabrics with a little structure to them - not clingy, not stiff

7] small scale, all over patterns work too

8] knee length makes legs look longer, and therefore slimmer

9] wear shoes to match dress or hose [ nude/skin tone ]. Try:

heels

pointy toe

toe cleavage

10] I like dress number four. The rest are baggy, and will make you look lumpy.

Also like [ on same site ]:

p. 2, row 2, col. 1; and

p. 3, row 1, col. 1

Out of those, I like the 4th the best, but why try to hide your curves? Show them off lol. In my personal opinion also, baggy dresses have the opposite effect and instead of making you look skinnier, they make you look wider
