Well it depends on what type of model,I'm a high fashoin model, and I make a good amout of money.Models are hired for a great variety of assignments beyond the stick thin runway work that is only a tiny part of the industry so weighing an extra 10-20 pounds is not a problem.

There is honestly no way to give payment ranges because what a model would make in Dayton OH would be hugely different than in L.A. or NYC. Payment also varies tremendously according to the particular assignment.

As far as when a model is paid, that is determined by who hired her. If she is signed to a modeling agency and they send her out on a call to a photograper, then the ultimate client(Coke, Victoria's Secret etc.) will first have to pay the ad agency. After that, the ad agency will pay the photographer and the modeling agency. Finally, the modeling agency pays the model. It can take from 30 days to 3 months to get paid!! : (

Hope I helped. :)

Oh... all models make a ton! But, even being 5,6 you could be a model. I think high fashion make more though, because they even get some money from the people who buy the dress they wore. Good luck! See you on the runway. :)

it greatly depends like everybody has said here, i am in the fashion industry, and yes there is a lot of money, but that depends on the agency that is hiring you, if you shd model for seveenteen, elite, cover gurl, wilhemina, victoria secret obviously you will be earning high and gaining more popularity, and it greatly depends on what contract u r offered

It depends on what type of modelling you do & your look. The more unique the better!
