glam rock chick?

I have always had kind of a different style. right now i dress kind of "scene" i guess, but i listen to bands like New York Dolls, KISS, and Sweet. What should i wear to be a glam rock chick? theyre also sometimes knows as "glitter kids". what clothes, shoes, makeup, etc.

I'm also a glam rocker girl to an extent. It's a hard fashion to work with sometimes, but it's really fun.



Metallic anything

Tight jeans with flared bottoms

Skinny jeans (cheap mondays are good)

Animal prints

Leather (vintage preferably to avoid killing animals)

Teased hair

Boots with a platform and heel

Fishnets

Tiaras

Vinyl

Sequins

Dramatic unusual makeup

Glitter

Torn Up Prom Dresses

Suits and Ties (Glam rockers loved androgyny)

Cheap plastic jewelery

Motorcycle gear (Glam boys are fluffy and feminine, glam girls are a bit more hard edged and tough, go for a gender bender sort of thing)

Short Hair works well

Feathers

Boas



Also you should look up Susie Quatro, she was a fairly famous female glam rocker and you can borrow ideas from her.
