New school look....?

ok heres the outfit i wanna wear, i dont have accesories, and i wanna go bold with them, i was thinking about like all red shoes and accesories 4 this outfit, its obvisally gonna b my first day of school look =] lolz. i wanna get my hair cut and colored, and i plan on getting contacts. she heres the outfit'

i plan on doing a poof thing in my hair 4 the 1st day, and 4 makeup, i wanna do something that like pops and makes me stand out and look sexy, but also innocent =] HELP ME!

I have that same yellow jacket. Rue 21, right? Wear it with something grey underneath, that's what I do.

And I'd go with the first one for your first day of school, it seems more comfortable. Red would look great with it!

As for the jacket, wear it on a rainy day. It'll look really cute. And during class if you get hot, it's fine to unbutton it, but it won't look as cute flapping open all day because it wasn't designed to be worn like that. So maybe wear something cute underneath that you can wear instead, by itself, if you get too hot.

Looks do matter in a way, sadly. But you could be the most beautiful person in the world, but if you were mean, you wouldn't have any friends. I'm not sure about other people, but I usually approach people that look friendly, not necessarily if they're up to date with the latest fashion. Your looks say a lot about you and your personality. Starting high school... you should NOT be nervous (if you are). It's nothing like you see on TV where bullys are shoving kids into lockers and taking their lunch money. There's really no popular group in most high schools. The key to success in high school (socially at least), is to be friendly and outgoing. Just try and make the most of it, it goes by fast. Academically, don't ever slack off because these grades count. Take as many honors and AP classes as possible and always study for tests. In middle school, you could usually get away with not studying for tests, but in high school, tests usually account for large portions of your grade especially finals. AP tests seem really scary, but they're not bad. If you have a good teacher who makes their class harder than the test, the AP test should be much easier as long as you have been paying attention in class and constantly review.

okay so with the yellow jacket under neath it wear a simple plain black tank or cami u dont want something crazy underneath because u want the jaket to pop! pair it with dark wash skinny jeans cute ballet flats or wedges and u will look amazing!!

I would wear a long necklace with the top and a colorful or patterned bag. I love the coat, the color is really nice and unexpected. I would check Urban Outfitters for some really nice accessories. You should look great. Hope I helped.

Okay, you're going back to school, not to a fashion show or whatever. You definitely don't want to look over done. You should wear what you are normally going to wear, and only put in as much effort as you're going to all year. And most teenagers don't wear sexy yet innocent make-up, so you may want to rethink all this.

My opinion on the outfit is that it it's a little to much grey for the first day back .. you say you want to stand out, but i don't think that outfit does it for you. Even with the red shoes, i don't think you'll get the kind of attention it seems like you are seeking. I would try some simple jeans, a funky tee, and flats to match. Add some of your own style with accesories, of course ! Personally I don't think you should go to bold for the first day though .. For make-up I would just do some brown eyeliner, mascara and maybe some eye-shadow that matches the shirt.



Also, I like that jacket! Rock it the second day back to make a statement!
