Would you recommend Clear Oakley Sunglasses?

Question

I had a pair of the Oakley Batwolf Black Ink/Black Iridium Sunglasses but they got ran over by a car :(

So now i am looking at new pairs of sunglasses, i see the clear Oakley Batwolf Clear/Ice Iridium Sunglasses found on this page: http://www.oakley.com/products/6594/25706

I have seen mixed reviews about clear frames, like they reflect too much sun. Does anyone own a pair? should clear be a concern? Or is there another style you would recommend other then Batwolf?

Personlly, I woudl not recommend clear unless your only thing is to "look" cool.



I had both Dispatch and Oil Rig (simlar in shape to the batwolf) in clear frames. I wore the Oil RIgs for a solid week in Florida while driving in a convertable. Worse decision ever. The Clear frames act like a fiber optic and channel the sun through the frame. So you will have this crazy "halo" of light around the lenses, even when the sun is shining from behind you. It's really distracting and frankly sucks.



If Batwolf glasses fit you (you have a larger head), I'd go with an Oil Rig, maybe even the TEN or the Pitbull.
