I Absoulty LOVE this dress, but they don't have it in my size, and I won't wear any other dress (I don't like dresses to begin with, but I would actually wear this one voluntarily ) Any ideas where I can get fabric and a pattern matching this dress, or where I can get one like it in orlando Florida?

Here's a link to a Vogue pattern site - with a dress that is similar, you would have to make the dress in a plaid fabric and then add the lace detail at the bust. You should be able to get this pattern and plaid material you like at any of the Fabricland/Fabric stores in Florida.

Hope this helps. Incidentally, my Mom made dresses for my Grade 8 and my Grade 12 graduations. And they were nicer than everyone else's!

Strapless dress for an 8th grade dance? Um... Why not try something more flattering then a strapless dress, since very very few girls actually look good and not like theyre wearing potato sacks in strapless dresses.

Penney's, Macy's and Von Maur all carry the Ruby Rox brand. If not try http://www.rubyrox.com and contact them directly-give them the style number and the size you need.
