Hey, I'm making an online magazine for teenage girls that includes fashion advice..

Here's my advertisement for it:
With the media's current focus on obsessing with celebrities, sometimes we obsess with trying to be just like them. But what if the focus changed onto people just like you, real problems just like yours, and high fashion styles - at low and reasonable costs and prepared for your every day wear.
I want to be that change and am beginning an online magazine that promotes inspiring people in your every day world, no matter what the age, purpose, or way they look. Where it's a fashion trend that you want to show off, make-up tip, friendship advice, ideas to help others or the planet, or just creativity that you want to show off.... I want to hear what you have to say and so do others. Let me know what your thoughts on this would be :) Thank you !

also, if u had questions on fashion advice, i would answer it and give u options . i am really interested in starting this so if you are interested please respond thank u!

I think that's a really good blurb. My only comment is to maybe rewrite the "an online magazine that promotes inspiring people in your every day world..." I first thought it meant 'promotes inspiring' as in both words are used like a verb, but then I realized that 'inspiring' was being used an ajective. Just thought that spot was a little rocky.

And, advertisements are usually short and sweet and get to the point. Maybe you could use that as a mission statement of sorts? Otherwise you'll lose the attention of the audience you're trying to advertise to. Other than that, I think the idea is great and you should go for it. I hate having to read Seventeen magazines, and they're so discrimanitory toward girls that live 2 hours from a mall with idiotic football obsessed boys packed in their high school where the graduating class is 150. It's just not so real. Like the quizzes ask questions like "OMG, there's a new Louis purse at the mall, what do you go do?!?!?" or "Which character on Gossip Girl do relate with the most?" Seriously, I can be fashionable without caring about a Louis. And not everyone watches Gossip Girl. I'm a proud self-proclaimed fashion diva that watches the Food Network and HGTV and thinks Star Wars is the best thing since sliced bread.

And if you mean cheap, I hope you mean like American Eagle/Hollister and get cheaper from there. I hate having to read a magazine and they send me to Buckle for jeans because of my height and the average price is $90. Or the shoes are 4 inches tall. Some of us are tall enough. Or can't walk in heels. I want something for someone who lives in a crap-town where wearing American Eagle makes you the town's upper class. And Abercrombie is elite. But of course, something more fashionable beyond those brands.

I hope my venting has helped you out. Good luck with the site. =)
