How to dress up like soc or greaser from The Outsiders?(Girl)?

So tomorrow I need to dress up like a Soc or Greaser from "The Outsiders". I'm not sure which one to dress up as. I don't really have any nice dresses or skirts, but i have blue jeans and greyish skinny jeans, nice shirts, hoodies (aeropostale), Sneakers and sort of dressy shoes. I also have uggs. I have like a cute white cardigan and maybe a jean jacket? I can wear light make up but not too much. and I am not sure how to do my hair, I was thinking like a poof in the front going back into a ponytail? Thanks!!!

So I would recommend you dress up as whichever one you feel most comfortable with and have enough clothes/accessories for!



For a greaser:



- a hoodie, black would be best

- black/grey tank top layered under the hoodie (maybe unzip the hoodie a bit so the tank-top shows?)

- ripped light/medium/dark wash jeans

- converse (or any sneakers you have)

- Maybe you can accessorize by adding a baseball cap. But since you are a girl, I would recommend you style your hair with a messy bun or a high ponytail.



For a Soc:



- First, make sure your hairstyle is neat and you look put together. We don't want any messiness (ex: no messy buns. loose hairs , etc.)

- You could wear a nice skater skirt (black or light blue would be good colors)

- A white tank top or top, tuck it into the skirt so that it looks like the top ends right where the skirt starts (sort of like a crop top?)

- If you chose a light blue skirt, add a blue bow to your hair (with a high ponytail that would look so good)

- Knee high socks in the color white)

- Any nice shoes you have! Just make sure they work with the outfit!



(also, I know this doesn't have anything to do with it, but I'd love to get best answer)



LANGUAGE:



For greaser:



- Talk sort of slang (hey, yo, etc.)

- Try to use the most "casual" words you can find



For socs:



- Try to use "bigger" words so that you sound educated





HYGIENE:



(So I'll only be doing this part for Socs because it works for both)



- Brush your teeth really well and take a breath mint

- Wash and moisturize your face

- Apply a chapstick to you lips so they're nice and soft

- Take a shower and wash your hair

- Spray on some nice perfume (for Greasers, go with a cheaper smelling one and a more expensive one for Socs)

Wear heavy eye makeup, including lots of black eyeliner and mascara. Use bright lipstick and be bold in your makeup choices. Greaser girl makeup is meant to draw attention, including bright eye shadow colors.



step 2

Tease your hair to give it lots of volume. Use a comb and hairspray to give it lots of lift. The hair can be worn in a ponytail or in a pompadour style, with the hair at the crown teased and lifted to form a crest at the front of the hair.



step 3

Wear tight sweaters, jeans and skirts to show off the body. Leather jackets and loop earrings are also a part of the greaser girl look.



step 4

Try wearing high-heeled shoes or boots to complete the look.
