I have three job interviews on monday at

JC Penny
Buckle
& Wet Seal

How should I dress???
Trendy or professional?
I was thinking of buying an item or two from each store to buy and wear it to the interview. Would that be tacky?

Here is the sort of outfit I was thinking about

http://www.wetseal.com/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=102&subCategoryId=117&productId=8026

http://www.wetseal.com/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=101&subCategoryId=180&productId=7798

Copy what the employees are wearing, but push it up a notch. NO need for a suit! My suggestion would be a pair of plain black dress pants, a baby tee, and a cute blazer.

I HATE IT!!!!! NO OFFENSE BUT EWWWW! THE ONLY THING THAT WAS O.K. WAS THE TOP. I WOULD WEAR JEANS AND A CUTE TOP FROM EACH OF THE STORES LIKE THIS:

for wet seal interview wear: http://www.wetseal.com/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=101&subCategoryId=115&productId=8704

for buckle wear: http://www.buckle.com/product/product_detail.jsp?bmUID=1202602900488&prd=55460UM066TB&sku=7252750300&Ns=P_Inventory%7c1&N=43+26+854

Dress professionally! That means no mini skirt. No offense, but that outfit is not appropriate for an interview.

I'd wear wide-leg trousers (not jeans), with nice leather shoes (or heels), an Oxford shirt or a sweater. Wear pearls and nice earrings. You can add some trend by including bright colors.

Your hair looks really cute as is--highlights might not look good.

Jeans are inappropriate for any interview. They might be okay for work, but find out the dress code AFTER the interview. Dress for the position above you--dress like your managers.

Hope this helps!

That looks like a bartending outfit. Not appropriate for JC Penny at all. The shirt is fine as long as it isn't see-through. Plain, nice dress pants would look good with that. With a nice jacket or blazer over the shirt and some simple boots or dress shoes would look nice.

Remember not to wear big jewelry, because this isn't a fashion show, it's a job interview. Good luck!
