I absolutely despise people who wear those oversize glasses! those geek looking glasses which everyone wouldn't be caught in back in the day but suddenly it's okay to wear...

I don't understand why people still wear them, sometimes it just looks wrong...It's like their trying too hard to stand out or something, trying to make themselves look 'nerdish', hip and unique but in actuality it just makes them look the opposite and it's so unoriginal and such a copy-cat thing to do. It's like a cattle of sheep, I see a handful of people each day to this at my university it just makes me shake my head...

It urks me how the only true reason people wear this is because of fashion, some don't even bother wearing lenses and just use those 3d glasses provided in cinemas.

It's very insulting to me as I really do wear prescripted glasses(not that over sized bull****)! I know some guy and he parades around in his fake glasses everyday thinking his all that when he just looks like a poser. I don't find it cool at all...just trying to hard.

I hate how people dress ugly and wear the glasses thinking it improves their overall look, as if the glasses make them appear styled...

I think over-sized sunglasses are cute.

But huge nerdy glasses? No thank you. I would never buy glasses like that, and I actually have a prescription!

Well, you sure are the authority here. That's your opinion and you are entitled to it, but you don't get to impose your opinion on others. The 3d glasses from movies can't be worn regularly, it bothers the eyes and anybody who does it for awhile will stop because their eyes will hurt. Big glasses go in and out of style - can't even count the number of times it has. And people like to have a different look sometimes. For those who don't wear glasses it can be a novelty. For those who do, well why not have some fun. You are taking things far too seriously. What is it that bugs you so much, why do you get to be irked? I'd like to suggest that you mind your own business, it doesn't affect you in any way shape or form, so why bother getting so irritated, enough to rant here.

Edit: Hon, you are making way too much of a big deal out of this. You act as if people are mocking you, they are not, they are role playing and trying to be somebody different with a different look. A thing that most people do from time to time. While you may be sensitive about your vision problems, these people are just having fun - and it is not at your expense. You are writing too much into their actions. I wear glasses and while I'd prefer not to and wish I had my once good vision, for the life of me can't figure out why you are so all hot and bothered. It is an overly critical and overly sensitive reaction, and it is inappropriate to what really is happening. What I most question is why you need to criticize, what is it you are sensitive about - that they are joking about something you are serious about? Who cares what they do, why even waste your time?
