I want to pierce my ear cartlidge..do you think I'll be OK?

I really want to pierce my ear cartlidge but I'm really really scared because I don't want to get a keloid. :/
I have 3 piercings on each ear lobe. I have had no trouble with infections or anything like that. As long as I keep it clean, will I be OK?
And also, what causes keloids, how big will it grow, and how do you get rid of it? I heard the only way is either an injection or surgery. :/
I really need some professional advice. I really want it pierced but I don't want my ear to be infected.

I have my cartlidge pierced twice and have done for 7 years, never had any problems with them, they healed quick too. Just make sure you keep it clean :)

i think that 3 places are quite enough. too many piercing, is not too much pretty

don't do it that is the sorest place in the body to get pierced and it is quite infection-prone.
