Yes, yes and yes. Found step bar for short wheel base 1987 truck that was $ 600 - $ 700 in stores or catalogs - found a new one for $300 including shipping. Bought tools, tents, toddler clothes lots (boys & girls), toys (got a small fortune in retail dollar terms for Thomas the Tank engines for grandson for Christmas for next to nothing), have found rare Santa collectible (paid $ 65.00 and valued at $ 150) and Hull pottery (paid $ 375.00 for it and book value is $ 1400) for friend who had been looking for the one last piece missing for his collections. I also enjoy getting and finding handbags ( name brand or not) for great prices for daughters. Asking questions before bidding has saved me from buying fakes, for example on a Dooney Bourke, asked for the serial number and a pix of the interior tag that would say made in America. One seller replied there is not a tag (wrong!) and all DB bags were made in China (FAKE and not even an educated FAKER at that). Have found out of date owners manuals to go with used cars we have purchased (1991 Honda Accord, 1984 & 1987 Bronco II, 1994 Taurus), purchase special style customizing features for son's Honda i.e. European style taillights, etc. Purchased lots of beautiful handthrown pottery (my weakness) in colors needed for everyday use and display for my home.

Use it to find, and purchase a lot of specialty items for my interior design business for customers such as one woman who wanted to hang only lavendar transferware white plates in her bedroom and another who wanted only genuine feedsack and floursack cloth used for pillows on her living room furniture. Bought estate jewelry to use to create "chotzkeys" for clients want to bling up their items such as a picture frame that gets accented with some of the jewels on it. Ebay lets me cover a wide range of items and obviously a larger area (the globe) to find items of which I would otherwise never have access like something out of the country, etc. I get a lot of ideas by cruising through furniture etc and can learn a lot about pricing by watching different auctions on similar pieces I am looking for to see if they see and for how much. Purchased ski clothes and snowboards for two youth at my church that couldn't afford them for their annual ski retreat. I couldn't afford all new myself and we don't have easy access to ski shops in the south!

Purchased wood dough bowls, a stainless steel double sink for husband's shop, and the list goes on. It is a great resource!

I shop on ebay aaaaall the time! I look mostly for designer clothes at a bargain but have learned the hard way you need to be careful of fakes!! I also look for cars and car parts as my man is in the motor trade. I have always found what i am looking for, that may be down to practice though.

My man shops for tools all the time, and his mates are all the same. I have one friend who buys baby stuff off ebay and sells her old stuff to pay for it, like a clothing library lol!!

Ebay is good for really hard to find things as long as you are aware to try different categories, spelling mistakes etc. The panel on the left lets you narrow your search to specifics of what you want which is great and you can choose new or used, with buy it now or auction. there are so many different ways to look, it is great. ALWAYS check the sellers feedback before bidding, and contact them if you can before you pay.

I would say i am on ebay daily and have saved searches for rarer items which get emailed to me when something comes up, that way i never miss out. My most recent mishap was a set of make up brushes by M.A.C. Spent a small fortune on them and when they got here i knew instantly they were fake. Raging!!! Also, it seems even the high street brands are being ripped off - I got a "Topshop" dress and the quality is shocking!

Hope this helps

i dont really shop on e-bay that often, think ive only bought a few things from it. I bought a beauty and the beast teddy from e-bay and thats because it was no longer available in shops, so i though e-bay was the next best place. The teddy that i got was the only one on e-bay at that time so i was really lucky to have got it - i think it only had an hours bidding on it left. i only ever go on if i specificically want to look for a certain item.

Most people i know shop on ebay, theres a friend of the family who makes a living out of it, she buys thing cheap and sell them for twice the price. Most people i know though usually buy electric items as they are generally cheaper than the shops.

I look on Ebay every day at work - sometimes I just browse general stuff and sometimes I look for something specific.

Today I have looked at dog clothes and found a seller who knits doggie jumpers. They are really nice so I'm thinking about getting some of those.

I also search for Topshop clothes that are out of stock and they are usually on Ebay but with a ridiculously high 'buy it now' price so I don't bother.

I used to look at books quite a lot and job lots of DVD's.

I have had my eye on a pair of sold out Topshop shoes in a size 7 for a while but they have so far not surfaced! Every now and again I search for them to see if anyone is selling any.

My Sister shops on Ebay, but my friends don't. xx

I shop on Ebay all the time. Almost every piece of clothing I've bought over the last few years I got on Ebay -- mostly brand new with tags. The only thing I won't buy on Ebay is underwear.

I do keep on eBay for terribly very nearly each thing, very handy, no strains, no keep journeys......I rather have had some issues of sellers at present, not transport merchandise in a well timed technique, not transport in any respect, and broken products on arrival.......maximum transactions i've got had over the final 2 months, appears like they only seize the money and run, and don't care with reference to the tip result or destiny enterprise....... :-)

yes i love it, i buy all my everyday goods from there, guinea pig food, hair bands, gifts for friends etc

i bought most of my xmas pressies form there which saved me a huge amount of time as i work in an office and ordered whilst i worked!!

also ebay is very trustworthy as long as you buy from a seller with good feedback. i ordered a few things the other day and one of them arrived with 24hrs and the rest in 48hrs!!

some of my friends buy gig ticket6s on ebay as well, sometimes a lot cheaper as people are trying to get rid of them and get anything they can for them!

great service!!!

i have bought about 43 items on ebay in the last 2 months apparently, that is what it tells me anyway lol!!

its also great if you want something that is only available overseas, postage prices are normally great on ebay. i bought a phone case and it was shipped from china. it cost me £2.49 inc P&P!! amazing!!

hope this helps.

Yes. I've bought a perfume in ebay. I was actually planning to buy another one but then, when I went to the mall, i suddenly bought the thing that I wanted to buy next on ebay.

As to how often, i've just tried ebay once. But i think, there's going to be 'next times' cause it's quite addicting.

Yes i shop on there for all sorts of things, mobile phone cover, dvd's, clothes for me and hubby but mainly children's clothes and especially for my 31/2 year old as you can pick up some bargains.

I bought my wedding dress and wedding shoes on ebay.

My hubby recently bought a "screwcumber" which you put veggies on for my common plecs ( nothing rude : P )

I have always found what i am looking for, there are some very weird and wonderful things on collectibles : )
