The store called Abercrombie & Fitch. I want to start off by seriously cleaning my room and then painting the walls a grayish purplish color, because thats how they have it. Then I want to have like one or two gray scale photos that are simillar to A&F posters in side of the store. Then I want to make sure that I clean my closet out and have a ray of light pointing on the clothes in my closet like A&F does! Then for the final touch in order for it to be like A&F I want to make sure that when I play my music its always at a decibel level at 85! And also I want my room dark all the time!

Do you think you will like it?
Or am I overdoing it?
I want to accomplish this by the end of summer break.

Heres some photos of the store if you dont know what Im talking about:

in that pic you can see the light pointing at the clothes, I want my closet like that.

I think that's really cool! I have my room like Hollister - I got these shutters at this salvage lot, and painted them the right color [and put them on my windows, inside!], I have dim track lighting, and I use the body spray for an air freshener.

Make sure you:

*Use the right, dark bedding!

*Try fitting your closet with shelves to fold your clothes on.

*For the photos, try cutting the front and back off the bags and framing them, or use black-and-white pictures of you and your friends.

*Get some big green plants to give it that beachy feel!

Good luck with your DIY, lol!

Why the heck would you want your room all dark and gloomy? Abercrombie and Fitch can pull that off because its a clothing store--people don't live there for the rest of their lives.

Try a brighter theme, and if you want it to resemble a store, try Hollister Co. (beachy theme, a little bit lighter then they have it in the store though) or Victorias Secret. Victorias Secret would be a good idea because they sell pillows, clocks, storage cases, and comforters on their site.

You could paint your room really cool looking, with white, sparkly tile flooring and bright lights. The walls could be pink with white polka dots.

Your room looks plain... like a hotel room when you first walk in... Johns room looks more girly with the teddy bears but the messiness makes up for it...

sounds pretty awesome! Just a word of advice the dark color will make you room look smaller! But that is seriously the coolest room idea, so original!

Sounds interesting. Never knew someone wanted their room like a store. Come to think of it... having a room like Hollister would be cool. Most of my clothes, like 90% are Hollister..

Good Luck!

Sounds cool. My friend has the same idea room and she painted it dark blue, with dark brown wood furnature, and she went on ebay and bought some of the large pictures on the models and put them on her wall with cardboard behind them, it looks really cool.

i think the light closet thing would look good, but keeping your room dark all the time is overdoing it..but other than that i think it's a good idea! :)

wow, you are really obsessed with a terrible store.

but if you just like the look, and aren't like scary into the clothes, then it's okay..i guess.
