How do I dress prep? 10 points to best answer!?

I have a school project where I have to project a sterotypical image, and I'm supposed to dress like a prep. How can I do this? I mean I kinda know, but what's a good, realistic way, that's not over exaggerated to the point of satire? Thanks!

Well definatly wear a cute purse. Also curl your hair and wear pink. Like a skirt and a cute bubbly top. A shirt that has Hollister on it or something. Wear a necklace and some hoop earings. I hope I could help you imagine what it should look like.

Ok old school preppy like in the 80's . Pink and Green. Izod flipped up collars polo shirts with the v-neck argyle sweater tied around the shoulders/neck. Khaki pants no socks and brown leather shiny loafers with the penny in the slots. Wide pink ribbons in high pony tail. Hair parted on side with big barrett. Pearl earrings and necklace to match. No more than one ring per hand. Small dainty watch. Ribbon belt with gold kissing whale buckle. Remember lots of Pink and Green...very squeeky clean....snooty! Look up the Preppy handbook...circa 1980's

You could get a nice pale colored polo (Light blue, pink or yellow), an argyle sweater vest, some nice fitted khaki's and a brown belt. Finish it off with some white Keds or Vans classics. As for your hair, Wear it down straight or slightly wavy with your bangs pinned neatly to the side. You could carry a small understated backpack, and wear a simple watch. Other than that, no jewelery or anything flashy. That's how I invision a prep at least. Good luck!

Jean skirts, Polos, Jeans, Sandals, Pearls, Diamond Earrings, Leggings, Sneakers, a purse. They usually always have straight hair. Have a sweater and tie the sleeves around your neck like a prep. Wear yellow, pink, blue.

In a messy bun or ponytail or leave it down naturally straightened, go blond, im sure ya got preppy girls at ur school just see how they dress. they usally wear jeans or sweatpants and a hollister or acbercromie sweat shirt

Really nice clothes and look like you know how to put clothes together. Make sure your hair and make up are just perfect. Wear a nice pair of shoes that go with the outfit. You want to look like you just stepped out of a J.Crew catalog.
