Where can I find a list of colors that don't match(clothing wise).?

Basically, it comes down to warm and cool colours. Never combine the 2 (eg: orange with blue or forest green with bubblegum pink)



Other combos that are a no-no:

Pink w/ orange or red (this includes everything from peach to coral to crimson)

Black w/ navy or midnight blue (makes the blue look like faded black)



Also, pairing colors that are opposite each other on a color wheel are generally not good. (do a Yahoo Image search for "color wheel" and you will see which colors are opposite)

as a fashion designer this is my professional opionion.

DONT BE AFRAID OF COLOUR!!!

what these people are saying may be true for them but it may not be for you. some of the colour combinations such as Navy and Black and Brown and Blue work really well together. it all depends on what you look like for example the wrong shade of red or pink of a blonde can make them look cheap and the same way that some shades of orange make brown hair look red. this spring summer it's all about strong colours with alot of white pigmentation.

another tip is never wear denim with denim it's hard to get an exact match

never wear black with a bright colour as it's very dated.

It's all about self expression try differant combinations and have confidence in yourself.

dont worry pink and gold look great together

it gives pink a fun, festive look
