Many stores (and websites) cary the sort of "Indie-rocker" look Taylor's now sporting (which I adoooooore)

The main thing to keep in mind when going after a Momsen look is the following:

- Dark colors

- Rocker tees (band names, album covers: aim for a 1980s thing)

- Leather jackets

- Slashed tights/leggings

- Skinny jeans

- Flannel shirts

- Metallics (for formal wear. also try to pair something hard with something soft like a lace dress with leather biker jacket)

Remember that you should always throw in a bit of your own style =)

Stores and websites u can check out are:

- ASOS (www.asos.com)

- Urban Outfitters (www.urbanoutfitters.com)

- Hot Topic (www.hottopic.com) (this is my ALL TIME favorite store! most everything in it screams 80s punk rock <3)

- TopShop (www.topshop.co.uk)

- American Apparrel (basics but AMAZING fabrics and detailing)

Also check out some similar references and celebrities who sport the same style. Look at musicians, models, actresses, designers, prints, music:

MUSICIANS:

- Joan Jett (Momsen has stated that she's inspired by her)

- Cherie Currie

- Cyndi Lauper (even if her sound is quite "Pop" music-y her style was really out there)

- Chrissie Hynde

- Debbie Harry (brought a softness to the rock and tumble look)

- Hayley Williams (of Paramore) (it's slightly more causal)

ACTRESSES:

- Kristen Stewart (<3) (she good at bringing her style in to dressy clothing)

- Mary Kate Olsen (more indie but can pull off rocker reaaaaaaaally well)

- Megan Fox (she can often pull off a really good casual rocker look)

DESIGNERS:

- Vivienne Westwood (started punk...duh)

- Sass and Bide (just became my fave designer)

PRINTS & FABRICS:

- Tartan

- Leather (go with Faux Leather...u spend less and save animal's lives ^^)

- Patterned tights

- Distressed (jeans)

- Stone wash

- Studded fabrics

- Fringe bags

MUSIC:

- Alternative rock

- 1980s music (the Runaways, the Pretenders, KISS, ACDC, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Go Go's, Cyndi Lauper)

Look for shirts that have low armholes (pair a cute bra under neath) or racerbacks. Look for shirt dresses that are longer in the back and tights...

And don't forget any rocker's best friend: A PAIR OF DOC MARTENS (preferably black)

Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen has ditched her alter ego Jenny Humphrey's preppy pleated skirts and headbands for a more downtown getup of ripped jeans and studded belts, to fit her new rock-star status. As lead singer of her band, the Pretty Reckless, this budding musician can often be spotted out on the town in an electric mini or studded leggings with a simple top, leather jacket, and at least one piece of statement jewelry. To rock Taylor's style at home, try combining your favorite pair of dark ripped jeans with a plain gray tee, a cropped motorcycle jacket, and an armful of jewels. Finally, rim your eyes with a heavy dose of black eyeliner-Taylor's signature makeup trick-and your pretty-in-punk look will surely take center stage. Try shopping for the sort of things that Taylor wears but make it more "you" like add your own signature to it. Good Luck :D

you sound very much like me! i absolutely love her new style.

Newlook, have brought out a brand in her name, they do some lovely clothing in there, some of them i believe overpriced but, most are well worth the money.

Topshop, is a great place to get the ''Rock-Chic'' feel Taylor gives off, buy pairing their jeans and boots up.

i find just shopping in common stores such as Matalan, Primark etc. are quite worth it, you always end up finding a nice leather jacket and they have good sections for that type of style. Nude tops with dark leather jackets, Jeggings, and boots, with LOTS of accessories.

i think Taylor's most hardest part to pull off, but biggest factor is her new hair. just add a few hair extensions which you can get anywhere nowadays really, if you don't have long hair already.

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/5VVED an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.

well she's got a very edgy, street style, kinda emo look to her in terms of makeup, anything dark on the eyes and bold lip color would do the trick for clothing look at stores like H&M, Hot Topic, and jewelry and accessories from Spencers
