Can you help me accessorize this dress?

Question

It's not quite this dress: http://piperlime.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=791154002&tid=plsp1r&kwid=1&ap=7 but it is a similar Rachel Pally spaghetti strap blue/white striped dress.

Help! I'm thinking maybe tan gladiator flats, tan purse, and a bright yellow belt? Ugh, I'm so lame when it comes to accessorizing. I have blonde hair and fair skin if that helps. Help!

gladiators wont looks so good with those stripes. try some other sandals that dont have so many lines on it. and probably any color bag would look good with it. like the tan purse you were talking about. dont go with the yello belt. it'll just look tacky then. you can try a long layered necklace. maybe even some clustered necklaces. but not too much. stripes dont go alone with too much things going on in the rest of the outfit.

try maybe a red cardigan (or light sweater) for the nautical look. or use yellow if you want yellow instead of red. match the color of your shoes with the color of the sweater and go with flats. don't put a belt with it if it already has stripes. that's too much.
