I have a plain black canvas bag that I want to decorate. I would like some suggestions for what I should put on it. I want it to look nice but I would also like it to go with just about anything.

i think you should get some iron on that you can put throught the printer and find some random crazy unique picture or make them yourself if you are creative and iron them on them maybe add some beading and possibly a silf flower or too i would just go wild and have fun with it...hey thanx for the idea i may want to doo that myself i think im gonna sew some random fabric on it to make it like a patch look awsome here comes my next project lol...sorry i just havent had anything to do with mystuff cuz i ran out of ideas and this is a great one you could also go with a theme since the bag is black maybe you could do like a night street look like with the yellow lights and flashing neon light and so on or like a vegas at night look

RE: the position am i able to hit upon a straightforward canvas messenger bag for adorning? It needs to be sufficiently large to carry college books. i favor to beautify it with patches, markers, etc. What can be a sturdy position to locate a bag which will paintings? thanks!

sew on appliques
sew on sequins ur self
embroidery
cross stiching
stenciled and spray painted (like artsy grafiit)
print screen
fabric paint in gold or silver
sewed on bead
glue on diff coloured ribbons with fabric glue
white or silver paint and some glitter plus ur artist friends skills
sewed on silk flowers
a cheap rubber stamp used with fabric paint in rainbow colors

Well you could cut out letters out of fleece fabric and sew it on in white color. Or you could get those iron on thingys that are pretty cool. Have fun!!!!!!!!!

you could use stick on sequins or sew beads around the top of it , embroder your name on it
