Shoes for a violet dress ?

The dress is somewhat like Rihanna's,

it doesn't have that extra semi-transparent layer on top though, it's just silk, but the colour is exactly the same. And it's not bubble-shaped, the skirt of the dress is A-shaped, and a little bit longer (to the knee).

I'm wearing it to prom, but wanted to make it not too prom-like, so that i can wear it afterwards as an evening dress.

So...what kind of shoes do you suggest ? Please post pictures ! :)

btw, i don't think i would like violet shoes, because i would only be able to wear them one time, it's not a coulour that goes with everything... So suggest gold, silver or black, please.

I think with a basic black pump between 3"-4" heel depending on what you can wear comfortably to carry off the complete look.

Definitely gold or silver I should think.



For cheaper shoes, try searching eBay. Best places online for the UK would be, Schuh, Topshop, Shelly's and VivalaDiva.

I would say silver. something simple yet cute and elegant. I had a similar dress for my prom and wore silver shoes with them..

Silver is the way to go, you cant go wrong and it's easy to find a purse to match

it may look superb, however the colours jogged my memory of the crimson Hat Society once you reported them. Who is acquainted with although. purple shoes could look stable with a purple gown, or maybe black or white. They do flow with each thing. stable success!

silver or black would be cool...im not going crazy for the color gold... i think the silver would look nice with violet.

i say.....gold...either flats or pumps maybe but not too stripper-like! i think black is too dark and u need somehting brighter to lighten it up a little.
