Heading to Penn/NJ tomorrow - what is the weather like?

I know, silly question, but I've never been to the East Coast when the weather report says Thunderstorms all week (I'm from California). I've been told that it means that there will be rain and storms for like 1/2 hour and then the rest of the day it's sunny.

So for those of you who live in Philly/NJ - what the hell should I pack in terms of clothing (I'm a girl)?

That's not exactly true. Sometimes it can rain for hours. It really depends on the temperatures. I'd make sure you pack a variety. Jeans, light long sleeved shirts, t shirts, tanktops, and shorts. Shoe wise, sandals should be all you need. You might want a rain jacket of some sort.

South Jersey near philly was shorts wearther the other day, Northeast Pa now is jeans, t-shirt, sweater kind of weather.
