cut them just a little, cut a hole just big enough to fit 2 fingers in, and then pull!!! if it doesn`t work, U should cut the whole hole. it`s also safer that way, cuz U know you`re not gonna rip them too much or anything...when that`s done, just start pulling the threades out...rubb them, cuz they will look kinda weird at the begining, but they will look just like the ones U can buy in the stores after U wash them a few times...promise, I tried it myself :D

I went through that when I was a teenager, I would rip brand new jeans and then put them in the wash to get a frayed look. I even took a couple pair outside and hung them on the clothes line and shot holes in them with a 22 (parents were pissed, and not safe so don't do it)Also cut the top around off (all the way around, right below the top button and above the zipper to give a low cut look and them washed them to get them frayed out on top, I thought that was cute. $50-60 a pair down the drain though :(

ok buy a cheap pair of jeans, if they are a bit long the better as you can have turnup's. The cut a smallish hole at the knee and take a cheese grater to this bit and rub the jeans over the area you want to rip it. It looks worn and ragged but also trendy and cheap, and dont spend heaps of money on baggy jeans buy a pair 2 seizes too big espeically if you are customising them yourself.

i dont know how u make the rips . i agree that they are very cute but i dont hav any because theyre too expensive and my mom says why buy them when u can go just wear an old pair with a hole in them and she hates them.but i say mom those old ones arent the right cute style for them.all i can suggest is if u dont know how u make the rips than go to a store like goodwill or sum resale shop they may have sum for not too expensive.

Shop on clearence. if you look in the right places you can find unbilievable deals, and just cause it's on sale does not mean it's alway a cheap brand or ugly. I have found some very expensive stuff on sale and got a good deal on it.. for example, I don't know if you like baby phat but their jeans are real expensive, when they were on sale I got them for $20!! originaly they were like $60-70. Great deal!

Take one side of a pair of sissors and rub then on the side on a pair of your jeans to kind make it ruined, the take string a do a messy design on top of it, or dont. i did it on a pair of jeans it worked, but i got a expensive but cute pair at Hollister, and it had designs stiched on it, and had a patch thingy on it too!
