me and my cousin got into a dispute about buying high priced clothes I recently purchased a used vintage LV bag from ebay and she always buys fake ones(and steals when we go to wet seal, arden b,bebe etc) she says Im crazy but I tell her I'd rather have a used real one than a fake new one but the rest of my family says it's stupid to buy high end merchandise If I work and make good money why can't I have quality things

Well if it is your money, you can do whatever you want with it since you worked hard for it, but you also have to think if the things that your buying are afforable and are good choices.

I think you are better off with the vintage real LV than with a fake. The real one will outlast the fake ones because it's made with better quality materials and the workmanship is higher quality. The old cliché "you get what you pay for" is certainly true when applied to authentic designer bags versus counterfeit bags. And there's something even more important at stake when you buy real as opposed to fake: you can sleep at night with a clear conscience.

The buying and selling of counterfeit designer goods is ILLEGAL, a federal crime in the USA, and in some cases supports organized crime by laundering money made through illegal activities. You may be spending a few dollars more, but you aren't supporting crime. Most people would never use counterfeit money, nor would they steal, nor would they support a drug dealers right to do business; yet in buying a fake chanel purse of a replica coach bag or a reproduction LV, they could be doing all three. Remind your family that by buying fakes, they don't know who or what they are supporting with their money. Although it sounds like there's some moral ambiguity on your cousin's part already.

If you're doing it for quality, go ahead. But if you're doing it just to impress people, 99% wouldn't be able to tell the difference between yours and a cheaper version just like it.

if you work its your money and you can bye what you want.if she steals that is wrong.i would not go with her.if she gets caught she will be paying a lot more than she bargain for plus jail
