men's feet are biologically different from women's. While men's tend to be wider, women's are narrower, slender. Just like height differences occur between the sexes, men are generally taller than women.

haha..yeahh but also because men's feet maybe vary more than women's and have to reach bigger sizes..just a guess :)

This seeems weird I know. It is because mens feet grow bigger than womans. If we shared shoe sizes them they would go up to the thirties. This is to keep it in range. They might be a little sexist too. Also I think they like to make different styles for men and women- not only to look different but different widths and what not.
