School is around the corner and I have $200 dollars to spend from my mom. My first day of work starts tomorrow and I will be paid in 2 weeks so I'll have more money soon. Im going to be a Junior this year and I really want to look cute! The problem is, I barley have any clothes in my closet now to even wear to school. I dont even have a weeks worth of pants. So my question is.. how can I spend $200 on clothes and shoes to look good for school until I get my first paycheck ?!

H&M has really comfortable well made skinnyish jeans for $10, they also have a sale rack which is dirt cheap. Go to your favorite stores and look at all the sale racks you'll find something cute and cheap

When I've needed to buy a bunch of clothes on a tight budget in the past, Ebay has been invaluable.

Make a list of the stuff you need. Search for brands you know and like, and where you're confident that their sizing is consistent so what you get will fit. Watch a whole bunch because you won't get it all. Ideally look for stuff that has 1 or no bids, and for stuff that's ending soon because the price will go up less. Bid in the last five seconds if you can. You can get reminders sent to your phone.

Keep a running total for what you've spent on auctions you've won. Remember to budget for postage!

I know some people don't like the idea of second hand clothes. There's lots of unworn stuff available too (bit more expensive), or unbranded things that are sold cheaply by companies (these can be more hit-and-miss with sizing though). Both cheaper than buying in shops.

But buying used is eco friendly, and you can get better quality clothes too. And nobody will be able to tell!

Good luck!

Well, if you mean getting as much clothing that you want within that budget i think Amazon is good. I looked at a shirt on Hot topic that was 20 something dollars and found the exact one on amazon for only $9. So I'd go with amazon. It's pretty good in shipping terms as well.

You have to make a budget for yourself.

Buy clothes that are both fashionable and the right price. Only spend clothes that are $25+ if you REALLY feel like you must have it.

Also, by clothing items that you can use over and over to match with other items. That way you can make many more outfits without having to buy more items.

If you're a girl, some good stores are:

Forever 21

H&M

Charlotte Russe

Rue 21

Hollister (just get clothes on sale or clearance)

Abercrombie & Fitch (same as Hollister)

Urban Outfitters (same as them ^^)

American Apparel

Etsy (online store)
