What could I wear to dress up as one of the "Pink Ladies" from Grease?

I think it'd make quite a cute and kitsch fancy dress idea, but I'm not overly sure what to wear!? I don't want to buy a special costume (apart from a pink ladies jacket!) so what could I wear to make it 50's/Grease style?
Thanks

Well, you could always rent a costume from a fancy dress hire shop. But, you could wear black 3/4 length leggings or black 3/4 length skinny jeans, and a black scarf around your neck with black heels. Or, wear a black full-circle knee-length skirt, white top with collar, frilly socks and either black pumps or trainers to go for the cuter look, as opposed to the Rizo sexy look.
Have fun!

Pink Ladies Dress Up

1Start with the hair. You have various options to capture the Pink Lady look. You can throw your hair up in a pony tail and tie a scarf around it, or you can purchase a wig with an outward flip that's reminiscent of the 1950's. Step 2Find a shiny pink jacket. This is the quintessential piece to your Pink Lady look. If you're having no luck finding one at a conventional mall or costume shop, look through specialty sport catalogs that carry team warm-ups. Step 3Get your jacket embroidered. If you didn't find a jacket at a costume store where there's a chance that your jacket may come with the signature "Pink Ladies" print on the back, get it embroidered with the "Pink Ladies" logo. Step 4Find black capris or leggings. Get leggings that are tight and shiny. Think about tight leather or pleather for more of an edgy look. Step 5Get pumps. You can use a vintage-inspired platform pump or even a pointed-toe pump. The color is up to you. Step 6Dress up your basic outfit with some 1950's accessories. Think about a pink scarf, leopard print scarf, polka dotted scarf, or cat eye sunglasses. Even chewing pink bubble gum can add to the overall look. That sounds cool girl.

I remember I had to dress as a pink lady for a school play. We had to do a bit of digging but found the following: Black, heeled shoes are most commonly worn. If not a poofy, hair-band-using hairstyle, then a nice, neat, high pony-tale is always a safe one to stick with! If you're getting a scarf, Sandy was often seen wearing an appricotty orange one If you're just going for some jewelery, pretty understated is probably your best bet- simple silver chain.. maybe a few bangles.. and you could even wear a couple of large-ish rings. you could get some black skinny drainpipe jeans and wear them with some peep toe high heels, your pink ladies jacket, and a necktie around its neck. or otherwise you could get a full circle poodle skirt and go for that look. either way go for big hair and red lipstick :)
good luck!!

Jeans, so tight ones, a pink scarf, and sweater. You could also wear tights instead of jeans.
wear either skinny leather pants or black leggings or tights, with a black top underneath, then the jacket, and heels, and a scarf tide around your neck like this :
