i went to all four of my high schools homecomings. it really just depends on your personal style. some girls wear formals and others wear slinky little dresses. some get their hair, makeup, nails and all that jazz professionally done and others have their mothers do it. i think you should just do what you feel comfortable with. also, talk to your friends, they always have the best advice, and at least if you are under/over dressed you'll all be the same

Less is better. Find an elegant simple design, short or long, pick something that suits you well. Pick your dress and accessories in such a way that people will notice rember you, not your dress and accessories. Think of yourself as a work of art and the dress and accessories as the frame. A solid color with classical accessories, such as a solitare penant necklace or pearls matched with simple earrings.. Or if you want to be bold. Forget a necklace and get very festive dangling big earrings, but if you do this, have a very simple hairdo and dress. In any event, leave your shoulder bag at home and use a nice little clutch purse. Don't forget your fancy pen and little paper to take the phone numbers from the gentlemen who will be dazzled by your sophisticated good looks.

Well first of all make sure the dress you choose is one you'll be comfortable dancing in and something you could wear again.

Rampage has a lot of cute dresses!

You can find a dress that's formal but still cute and not overboard. Go simple with the make up maybe just a little shimmery eye shadow that matches the dress, some mascara and lipgloss.

If you buy a strapless or halter dress go for a simple little up-do.

Good luck!
