I`m nervous to tell my mom about my new style! HELP!!!?

well ever since last october I`ve been buying hot topic clothing and suspenders and all this punk rock clothing. well anyways I`m kinda into Aeropostale now so.... my mom is a rock in roll mom so she really likes the whole punk rock get up.She has always and forever hated my new fav stores such as aeropostale+ hollister. so sorry I`m all over the place. so I`ve been borrowing my bff lauren`s cloths. see I live with my dad not mom so I see her tommorrow! I asked her to get me the knock offs of the ugg slippers. So I hope she is catching on-thanx!

I know how stressful (and suspenseful!) it can be to have to tell your parents something if they will probably feel disappointed in some way. But maybe you could have some fun and do a little of both! Or tone down the goth/punk look with something a little more "normal" or dressy, but with the Hot Topic undertone. You may be able to simulate the process of change you underwent, with the varying degree if style you present to her =)

Well that's quite the problem you have. I say that if your mom really loves you and cares for you she would want you to be happy and she wouldn't care what you wear as long as your being yourself and your clothes are appropriate :- S

it is your style, and she should understand that her style doesnt have to correlate with yours. i mean..seriously. we all have different styles. and she seriously cant expect a mother/daughter to have the same style. thats just weirdd.
